The media is going to exploit Zika just like it exploited Ebola, so let’s all behold the stupidity that’s about to come from your favorite news source! I wrote about it on HUSTLERMagazine.com (NSFW, look out), so if you want to read all about bad media practices, head on over there.
The Zika virus is NOT a dumb thing, of course — it’s a serious issue for pregnant women in Latin America — but if you’re an able-bodied, healthy kid or adult here in the United States, it’s very, very unlikely that you’re going to be affected by the Zika virus.
So, yeah — just something to keep in mind as you watch the media blow it out for virus talk like this is some new form of Ebola or something.
